Jaclyn Kramer is the inaugural Director of Development at The Alliance for Diplomacy and Justice, a new organization that strives to center human rights and global justice within U.S. foreign policy, reimagining American diplomacy through advocacy, public engagement, and global partnerships. She is tasked with building upon the organization’s early fundraising successes while building an effective development department by establishing policies, implementing best practices, and increasing donor engagement.
Prior to her role at The Alliance, Jaclyn was the inaugural Director of Advancement at the City Bar Justice Center, where she led the fundraising and communications functions for the organization. She successfully created a modern advancement department, including building and implementing the organization’s first CRM across a coalition of NYC Bar Fund programs, while simultaneously increasing gala net revenue, helping to secure a new $150,000 program grant, and increasing individual giving by 48% over two years.
Jaclyn joined the Justice Center following a six-year tenure as the Development Director for Volunteer Lawyers for Justice in Newark, NJ, where she tripled unrestricted revenue, doubled individual giving revenue, and implemented a major gifts program that included securing a $1M donation and the creation of a five-year matching endowment campaign. She also planned and executed a successful annual gala and a suite of other fundraising campaigns and events and managed donor stewardship, board development, and development prospect research. She has 17 years of experience in fundraising at organizations such as Covenant House International, Human Rights First, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, and the West Point Association of Graduates.
Jaclyn is a graduate of Providence College with a degree in Political Science and two minors, Public & Community Service and Black Studies.
